Babu Banarasi Das National Institute of Technology and Management
Babu Banarasidas National Institute of Technology & Management, also known as BBNITM, is a well known institution in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The private engineering and management college was established in 1998. The institute is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow. Courses offered by it are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Several courses offered by Babu Banarasidas National Institute of Technology & Management have been accredited by the National Board for Accreditation (NBA).
BBNITM was established in the memory of Late Sri Babu Banarasi Das, Ex Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The college is a part of Babu Banarasi Das Group of Educational Institutions, which have been established by Babu Banarasi Das Educational Society, under the Chairmanship of Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta, former Union Minister, Government of India. Apart from BBNITM, the Society has established institutions in Delhi and Lucknow, to impart higher education in Engineering, Dental Sciences, Pharmacy, Architecture, Management, Computer Science and Education, etc.
