Al-Ameer College of Engineering and Information Technology was established in the year 2001 by Mohammad Vaziruddin Educational Society with the approval of the All India Council for Technology Education(AICTE), New Delhi and the Government of Andhra Pradesh and is affiliated to JNTU, Kakinada.

Al-Ameer College of Engineering and Information Technology offers two undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering with an annual intake of 90 students and four courses viz., Computer Science and Information Technology, Biotechnology, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 60
